MV Design Studio's story is the manifestation of the principles, style notions & aesthetic sensibilities Ar. Manvi Vakharia finds herself resonating with. Post the completion of her B.Arch. Degree from Rachana Sansad - Mumbai, Manvi took on her very first design project at the age of 22. The year 2017 witnessed the establishment of MV Design Studio & marked the beginning of her practice.

Located in Mumbai, the design consortium handles full-scale projects in the realm of residential & commercial design. The impetus behind this journey stems from Manvi's passion for designing spaces that allow her to experiment & explore materiality to synthesize unique spaces. Her penchant towards designing out of the box enables her to express her design identity that creates lasting impressions on the end-user.

Her body of work bears a pattern of qualities that exhibit her design approach. Opulent elements find their way into her design palette without the risk of looking flashy or loud & give any space a layered character. It's about working one's way around a palette of colours, finishes, materials & textures to bring into existence a space that resonates with the client's persona & functional needs. Nature & its influence plays a pivotal role in her practice as she believes that it's the core inspiration of ornamentation & aesthetics.

Children's rooms & balcony spaces top her list of favorite nooks to design as the potential for experimentation & quirkiness levels are limitless. Geometric forms, pops of hues, greenery & styling accessories all come together harmoniously to give the studio's design their unique DNA. Inspired greatly by design stalwart Zaha Hadid, Manvi relentlessly works towards challenging the standards of beauty in spaces & believes in creating simple yet significant elements in her design scheme.

On a rainy day, you might find Manvi tucked in a cozy corner, binging on some Netflix with a side of chocolate & planning a vacation to the colorful lands of South America! While she's not in the office she spends time finding inspiration in nature, travel & the extraordinary.
